With Obama getting elected, and Bush and Cheney being lame ducks, it is looking increasingly unlikely that they will attack Iran, but you can never tell with that pair. If they do decide to go for it, this is the plan:

1. Should there be an attack, we will protest on that evening in the Market Square.

2. We will encourage people to immediately walk out of their workplaces, schools and colleges in the event of an attack.

3. Should there be an attack, we will protest on the following Saturday in the Market Square.

We have leaflets explaining all this. Get in contact (John on 07739 712 432) if you want some.

This is also the pattern we will follow in the event of any other outrage, such as another attack on Lebanon. If anything like that happens, check on this web-site for our response.

Nottingham Stop the War Coalition Organising Meetings are open to all. If you want to get involved with organising things, just turn up!

All our Organising Meetings are at 7:30pm in the International Community Centre (ICC) which is at 61b Mansfield Road. This is just up from the Victoria Centre and is opposite where the Woodborough Road joins the Mansfield Road.

We generally hold these meetings on the first and third Wednesdays in the month. The meetings will always be advertised here on this website.
